INTERSECTION / TOURIST TRAP

This project marked the first collaboration between Wantanee and Qenji Yoshida . Developed in Japan and Thailand, the work was exhibited simultaneously in both countries for the same duration.
Walking through different urban environments, the artists engaged in conversations around sensitive social and political issues shared across both contexts. Many of these subjects, however, remain difficult or impossible to address openly within their respective societies.
